Story Teller - one of the answers is covered over
This has not happened regularly but it has happened about 3 times -- Story Teller a screen-like effect covers an answer and the resident is unable to click on a specific buttons. It appears to freeze over the answer. Unfortunately, in order to get out of it, the resident has to click on another button (which is a wrong answer). I installed the program onto another computer, then moved the resident's data from the computer with the problem and put the data on the new computer. Unfortunately, this only worked for a couple of days and the problem has returned.

Inappropriate?Thank you for contacting us. If a participant does not achieve a 40% accuracy rate in their responses to the story segment question, the program will repeat the segment and ask them to reanswer the questions. When the segment is repeated, the previously selected incorrect answers are pictures with hash marks over them so that they cannot be chosen. This sounds like screen-like effect that you are referring to. Some participants do not understand that the hash marks indicate that an answer that cannot be picked.
Please let us know if this explanation helped. If not we can try some troubleshooting solutions. -
Inappropriate?What you are saying "may" be the answer, however, a couple of times I thought the "screened" answer was the correct answer, so it doesn't make sense that it will not allow it. However, I will check it more closely with the resident to determine if that is the case -- the way you explained. If not, I will get back to you. Thank you.
