Rewards could be more rewarding
I find those noises you get in 5/6 themes after 10 correct answers distracting, so i always choose the colours option; but picky me - i skip the animations because i find them boring and repetitive, and don't feel rewarded. Anyone else so picky?
I would like to see some changes - maybe more silent themes, and a bit more variety in the animations.

Inappropriate?Hi Hilary - Thanks for sharing this idea.
I've checked with our development team to understand the thinking behind "rewards" so far. It turns out that we originally had only one color theme in the BFP, but it was so popular we ended up making more of them.
We've also heard some participants say that the animations are boring, although some of the animations have been fairly popular (like the travel theme). It's really great to hear your ideas (personally, I like the idea of silent themes) and hopefully others will chime in with their thoughts as well.
I’m thankful you've shared this idea. Rewards are an important incentive to stay focused!

Inappropriate?I like the more silent themes very much. I have also chosen the color one for the same reason and they are enjoyable, but I agree the rewards are boring. I haven't found the animation rewards in the travel section enjoyable at all, so I am glad we have the option to skip them. I like the animal rewards best, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of variety. More variety in the animal and travel pictures would be nice.

Inappropriate?I enjoy the Brain Fitness reward section that displays photographs of places around the world, along with captions naming the spots. (for its subtle sound affects and speed, in part) The animals section is similar, but I found myself disappointed that there are no captions accompanying the animal photos.
I realized the "places" section was operating as a reward for me because I love to learn, and felt I was learning to recognize foreign spots of interest. The animals section, although equally gorgeous, began to frustrate me because I kept wondering what these animals were called.
Please consider the addition of Animal captions, identical to those employed for the places (or travel? can't remember) section. Through this easy adjustment, you would be enhancing the learning opportunities, interest, enjoyment and reward.
